I never went through that 'dress-up' phase as a child, and I'm guessing that now it has finally hit me. With Halloween as my favorite holiday, I take conventions as another excuse to dress up as something I'm not. It's a lot of fun and I take tons of photos at cons. Here you can view photos of me and others in costume at various conventions and events that I attend.
On Halloween of 2002, I hosted a party for watching horror anime with titles including Mermaid Scar, Mermaid Forest, Petshop of Horrors, Curse of the Undead Yoma, Vampire Hunter D, Vampire Princess Miyu, Blood: The Last Vampire, etc. I invited all my otaku buddies, and insisted that they all come in costume. The party was a success, and a blast. It was where my obsession with Cosplay all began. Here is a photo of our group!
